Live Voice Writer (English) (Contractor)

3Play Media is seeking motivated, experienced, and aspiring English Live Voice Writers to join our Global Marketplace Contractor team. This contractor position offers project-based assignments aligned with our live event schedule, ensuring live content is accessible in real time.

About the Role

• Immediate Onboarding: Prioritizing candidates who can efficiently navigate our training and qualification process.
• Impactful Work: Provide critical access for attendees at live-streamed events.
• Total Flexibility: Work remotely, claiming only the available live events that fit your schedule.

Responsibilities

• Produce real-time closed captions for live events by re-speaking into our intuitive web-based software.
• Remain focused for the duration of live events.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Willingness to complete a background check.
• High initiative and ability to take ownership of your learning curve.
• Technical readiness: access to a high-quality headset/microphone, reliable computer, and stable, high-speed internet connection.
• Excellent listening skills and a clear, consistent speaking voice.
• Ability to multitask between listening, speaking, and navigating software.
• Strong command of English grammar and ability to follow complex instructions independently.

Pay

Project-based compensation: $0.50 per captioned minute plus 20 minutes of pre-event check-in/preparation time. Overtime rates apply when a live event exceeds the scheduled duration.
