Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care including bathing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and mobility exercises
- Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals
- Maintain a tidy home with light housekeeping and laundry
- Provide medication reminders and track basic health indicators
- Offer companionship through conversation, games, walks, and social outings or errands
- Maintain clear and respectful communication with family and care team
Requirements
- Prior experience as a live-in caregiver, home health aide, or PCA preferred
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Confidence with safe transfers and basic housekeeping/cooking
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to remain awake and alert for overnight safety checks
- Compassionate, reliable, and mindful of privacy in a client’s home
