Live Event Custodian

About the role

The Live Event Custodian will perform basic janitorial work including servicing of trash and recycling bins and grounds cleaning. This position is part-time and seasonal based on event schedules with hours varying based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing onsite sustainability programs from pre-event set-up, event day execution, and post event tear down.
• Service recycling, trash, and compost bins; sort material; load and unload equipment; maintain equipment inventory.
• Must have effective communication skills in order to: understand and follow written and verbal work instructions and safety standards, and complete all paperwork associated with equipment transportation, customer interactions, and deliveries.
• Perform all job duties in a friendly, courteous manner and adhere to all safety requirements.
• Respond to customers promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
