About the role

Total Quality Logistics (TQL) is looking for a detail-oriented and driven Litigation Support Specialist to join our Corporate Legal team. In this role, you’ll support a variety of legal matters including claims, collections, and dispute resolution, while partnering closely with attorneys and internal stakeholders. Responsibilities

  • Manage legal recovery and collections matters, including unpaid receivables, chargebacks, disputes, and settlement recoveries
  • Review claims and supporting documentation to assess risk and recovery opportunities
  • Draft demand letters, dispute communications, and settlement correspondence in partnership with legal counsel
  • Track legal matters, deadlines, and financial exposure, escalating when appropriate
  • Partner with internal teams to gather documentation and align on resolution strategies
  • Support litigation activities including arbitration, mediation, and small claims matters
  • Prepare legal materials, discovery documentation, and case support files
  • Conduct legal research on contracts, regulations, and industry standards
  • Afford UCC filings and recovery enforcement efforts
  • Maintain legal tracking systems to ensure accuracy, visibility, and compliance
  • Communicate with customers, vendors, and outside counsel regarding assigned matters
  • Support compliance-related initiatives, including filings and recordkeeping

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in legal studies, paralegal studies, business, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in legal collections, claims management, dispute resolution, or litigation support
  • Strong understanding of contracts, collections processes, and corporate legal practices
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills and sound judgment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal research tools
