About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected litigation team within a nationally recognized Am Law 100 firm. The role offers a hybrid schedule with 2 remote days per week after training, employer-paid parking in Downtown Los Angeles, and exposure to sophisticated litigation matters and high-performing attorneys.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, revise, format, and manage a variety of litigation documents
- Handle State and Federal Court e-filings with precision and efficiency
- Proofread and edit pleadings, correspondence, and legal filings
- Maintain complex attorney calendars, court deadlines, and scheduling requirements
- Cook up meetings, travel, client communications, and administrative support
- Process expense reports and reimbursement requests
- Anticipate attorney needs and proactively keep matters moving forward
- Serve as a trusted resource and key member of a busy litigation team
Requirements
- 3+ years of litigation secretary experience supporting multiple attorneys
- Strong State and Federal e-filing experience
- Solid understanding of court rules, procedures, and litigation deadlines
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience working in a paperless or technology-driven environment
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities
Qualifications
- Insurance Defense or Healthcare Litigation experience is a plus, but not required
- Location: Downtown Los Angeles
- Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in-office / 2 days remote after training)
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
- Compensation: $75,000-$95,000 DOE
