Litigation Partner or Senior Counsel
Michael Best & Friedrich LLP is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Litigation Partner or Senior Counsel to help grow our expanding North Carolina offices. The candidate must be a senior-level attorney with significant civil and/or commercial litigation experience.
About the Role
- Manage an active litigation caseload
- Draft and prepare pleadings, briefs, motions, and other litigation documents
- Manage discovery, including taking/presenting witnesses for deposition, oral argument, and trial preparation
- Conduct legal research, analysis, and writing
- Demonstrate excellent oral advocacy, communication, and writing skills
- Possess a reasonable book of portable litigation business
- Help grow the firm’s litigation presence in North Carolina
- Actively network in the community and various organizations

Location
This position is available in any of our North Carolina offices (Charlotte, Raleigh, Wilmington). The firm has contemporary office spaces designed for concentration and collaboration, supporting a culture of teamwork.
Requirements
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials
- At least 10 years of litigation experience
- Current member of the North Carolina bar with litigation experience in North Carolina federal and state courts
- Valid authorization to work in the U.S.
