We are a multi-disciplinary, human-scale law firm based in Boston. Our firm serves a diverse client base ranging from large corporations and closely-held businesses to state and local governments, school districts, non-profits, and individual clients. Our litigation team is built around experienced trial attorneys who handle a full spectrum of complex legal matters, both in and out of the courtroom. While we prioritize efficient resolution through negotiation, mediation, or arbitration where appropriate, our attorneys are recognized by clients, opposing counsel, and the courts for aggressive, innovative advocacy when litigation is the right path — regularly trying cases before judges and juries in state and federal court, as well as before administrative agencies. Several of our attorneys also carry significant appellate experience, having produced decisions of statewide and national significance. We frequently serve as local counsel for regional, national, and international firms with matters in Massachusetts courts.

Responsibilities

• Originate and manage significant litigation matters independently
• Serve as first-chair trial counsel in state and/or federal court
• Manage and grow a portable book of business within our platform
• Handle client relationship management and business development
• Operate in a senior, client-facing role from day one
• Collaborate with other practice groups (real estate, municipal, corporate, environmental, regulatory) where matters intersect
• Mentor and develop junior talent as the practice grows

Requirements

• Substantial experience as first-chair trial counsel in state and/or federal court
• A proven, portable book of business
• Strong client relationship management and business development track record
• Massachusetts bar admission required

Pay

$200,000 - $300,000 per year
