Litigation Paralegal (Personal Injury)

About the Role

Our law firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Litigation Paralegal with a focus on Personal Injury to join our team in Greenville, SC. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to manage a diverse and complex caseload, work with a team of dedicated legal professionals, and make a significant impact on our clients' lives.

Responsibilities

• Managing personal injury cases from inception through resolution.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other legal documents.
• Conducting legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
• Coordinating and managing medical records, bills, and lien reductions.
• Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, judicial personnel, and others.
• Assisting attorneys in preparing for depositions, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials.
• Maintaining organized case files and tracking deadlines.
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to case strategy discussions.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with a focus on personal injury cases.
• A paralegal certificate or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
• Proficiency in legal research, with a strong understanding of personal injury law and civil procedure.
• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines concurrently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts.
• Proficiency in the use of legal software and technology, including case management software, e-discovery platforms, and legal research tools.
• A proactive and independent work ethic, with the ability to take initiative and work well under pressure.
• A commitment to providing exceptional client service, with the ability to empathize with clients and advocate for their interests.

Pay

Salary: $55,000 - $75,000 per year
