Responsibilities
- Drafting, preparing, and reviewing legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Aiding in the preparation of trials by organizing evidence, preparing exhibits, scheduling witnesses, and ensuring all necessary materials are ready.
- Maintaining efficient and effective document review and discovery processes.
- Utilizing legal case management software to track and manage cases, ensuring all information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Liaising with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and internal team members to facilitate case progression.
- Adhering to all legal compliance requirements and staying updated on any changes in laws and regulations relevant to personal injury litigation.
- Providing bilingual Spanish support to clients, ensuring clear and accurate communication.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a plaintiff PI litigation paralegal.
- Solid experience with legal document preparation, trial preparation, document review, and the discovery process.
- Proficiency in legal case management software, ideally iManage.
- Excellent knowledge of legal compliance and legal writing.
- A strong understanding of personal injury law.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to think strategically.
