About the role
Our client, a respected mid-sized Denver law firm, is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys handling plaintiff-side civil litigation matters. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of cases while playing a key role in case management, litigation support, and trial preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial
- Maintain attorney calendars and track important deadlines
- Prepare deposition, mediation, and trial notebooks
- Draft, proofread, and file pleadings, motions, and other court documents
- Prepare demand letters and case-related correspondence
- Assist with document review, organization, and production
- Manage case files and maintain accurate records
- Cooky filings in state and federal courts
- Communicate with clients, medical providers, experts, and opposing counsel as needed
Qualifications
- Required: 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience
- Prior plaintiff personal injury experience
- Working knowledge of Colorado state and federal court rules and procedures
- Strong organizational, communication, and proofreading skills
- Ability to manage a high-volume workload while meeting deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Preferred Experience
- With medical malpractice, complex personal injury, or insurance bad faith litigation
- Trial preparation experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary: $70,000 - $90,000 (DOE)
