Litigation Paralegal | Hybrid | DTLA | Up to $100K + Bonus

About the role

A seasoned Litigation Paralegal with a passion for high-stakes litigation and trial work is needed. This position offers a chance to work with a respected mid-sized law firm on complex civil defense matters, from initial filings through trial, mediation, arbitration, and resolution.

Responsibilities

• Take a lead role in trial preparation, including exhibit management, witness binders, trial notebooks, and electronic presentations
• Assist attorneys with mediations, arbitrations, and courtroom proceedings
• Develop and maintain case chronologies, indices, and organized case files
• Cook up and maintain document productions and discovery management
• Cite-check, proofread, and prepare pleadings, briefs, and legal filings
• Manage litigation calendars, deposition scheduling, and critical deadlines
• Support trial logistics, including war room setup, courtroom technology, exhibits, and trial materials

Requirements

• 5+ years of civil litigation defense experience
• Recent hands-on trial experience and confidence supporting attorneys in the courtroom
• Experience handling complex litigation matters from inception through trial
• Proficiency with litigation technology such as iManage, Relativity, TrialDirector, CaseMap, Case Notebook, or similar platforms
• Public Entity defense experience is a plus, but not required
