Position
The PositionAs a Litigation Paralegal, you will play an integral role supporting attorneys through all phases of the litigation lifecycle. You will work on complex matters, collaborate with experienced legal professionals, and contribute meaningfully to case strategy and preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support attorneys through all stages of litigation, from initial investigation through trial preparation.
- Conduct research using court databases and online resources to obtain case-related information.
- Review, analyze, and organize document productions from opposing counsel and third parties.
- Prepare summaries of deposition transcripts and key case materials.
- Assist with preparation of materials for expert witnesses, including organizing supporting documentation.
- Maintain well-organized case files and manage large volumes of documents.
- Track deadlines and support attorneys with case management activities.
- Collaborate with attorneys and team members to ensure efficient workflow and strong client service.
- Draft subpoenas and coordinate retrieval of medical, employment, and other relevant records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, Paralegal Certificate preferred
- 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience
- Insurance defense experience is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience drafting subpoenas and managing records requests
- Experience with insurance defense or insurance coverage matters is a plus, but not required
