Litigation Paralegal

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced litigation paralegal to join our team. This permanent role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-stakes cases, providing critical support to our litigation team. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the litigation process, from discovery to trial, and will be adept at managing large volumes of information and documents. Experience in family law and handling FOIA requests is a significant plus.
Responsibilities
- Assisting attorneys in all phases of the litigation process, from initiation to discovery to trial.
- Managing and organizing large volumes of complex case documents; compiling, analyzing, and summarizing data.
- Conducting legal research and drafting legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, and briefs.
- Coordinating with clients, court personnel, and other law firms.
- Assisting with trial preparation, including witness preparation, trial exhibits, and trial binders.
- Handling FOIA requests, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Assisting with hearings, including preparing hearing binders and coordinating witness schedules.
- Managing e-filing and ensuring all filings comply with court rules and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Paralegal Certification from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
- Extensive knowledge of the litigation process, including discovery, trial preparation, court rules, and procedures.
- Experience with e-filing in state and federal courts.
- Experience handling FOIA requests.
- Familiarity with family law.
- Strong research and report-generating skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage large volumes of data and information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion.

Pay
$65,000 - $80,000 per year
