About the role

The Litigation Manager will own and lead the development and implementation of comprehensive project plans for complex mass tort and class action settlement programs. They will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring that the deployed solutions meet client objectives and legal standards.

Responsibilities

  • Owns lens portfolio end-to-end, from initial design through client deployments.
  • Collaborates with attorneys, subject matter experts, and cross-functional build teams to conceptualize, strategize, and execute settlement programs.
  • Led the development and implementation of comprehensive project plans, tracking goals, tasks, and dependencies.
  • Engages proactively with Tier 1 accounts, leadership-level firms, and high-volume clients on the litigation portfolio.
  • Manages time and priorities across multiple projects, balancing competing demands and shifting priorities.
  • Author and review critical documents, including correspondence to program participants, legal counsel, and the court.
  • Prepares detailed reports for internal executive leadership and clients.
  • Provides comprehensive support to internal executives overseeing settlement programs, offering strategic guidance and facilitating decision-making.
  • Collaborates with the Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure client questions are routed correctly.
  • Identifies opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancements, using insights from program performance and stakeholder feedback.
  • Builds and maintains working knowledge of the Pattern platform to educate clients on its operation within the context of their litigation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required. JD, paralegal certification, or substantial coursework in law preferred.
  • Direct experience in mass tort or class action litigation environments essential.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience managing complex mass tort and class action settlement programs.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, data sorting, and filtering capabilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to liaise with clients, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated comfort engaging directly with clients, including senior attorneys and firm leadership.

Qualifications

  • Substantive legal background is required, including prior experience as a paralegal, claims administrator, legal operations professional, or practicing attorney with direct exposure to mass tort or class action matters.

Pattern Data offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $130,000–$160,000 per year, performance-based incentives, comprehensive benefits, and other rewards. Final compensation will be determined based on several factors, including skills, experience, qualifications, geographical location, and internal equity across the team.

The estimated base salary range for this role is $130,000–$160,000 per year, plus bonus and benefits.
