About the role
This position offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team dedicated to education advocacy and civil litigation. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can support the firm’s mission of protecting futures and creating meaningful change.
Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritize multiple cases simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Coordinate case activities, including document review, deposition scheduling, and court filings.
- Organize and maintain case files, ensuring they are accessible and up-to-date.
- Support attorneys with research, drafting documents, and preparing for hearings and trials.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (law, paralegal studies, etc.)
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a legal setting, preferably in litigation or education law.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Experience with legal research and document production.
- Knowledge of California state laws and regulations.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Pay
$45,000 - $65,000 yearly
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
