Position Overview
This is a dual Executive Assistant to the CEO and Litigation Assistant role serving as the operational hub of the legal team. The role involves:
- Case Management & Filings: Organizing and managing all state and federal filings; project managing litigation and enforcement matters; ensuring deadlines, pleadings, and campaigns move forward seamlessly.
- Executive Assistant to CEO: Full ownership of calendar management; scheduling, prioritization, and workflow coordination; acting as a gatekeeper and strategic support partner.
- Intake Support & Matter Management: Backup support for client intake; opening and tracking new matters; supporting transition of intake admin toward a more sales-focused role.
This is a fully in-office position (Monday–Friday, flexible within reason on hours).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Required Experience & Competencies:
- 5+ years of litigation experience (paralegal, legal assistant, firm administrator, or case manager)
- Texas State and Federal litigation experience
- Background in intellectual property or commercial litigation
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Able to juggle multiple competing deadlines with urgency
- Team-first mindset with strong ownership mentality
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, high-accountability environment
Preferred:
- Certified Paralegal
- Experience with Clio (very strong plus)
