Qualifications
- At least three years of commercial litigation experience in a law firm.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience working with document management systems.
- Ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Educated interpersonal and teamworking skills.
- Demonstrated professionalism.
- Availability to work overtime when required.
Responsibilities
- Provide secretarial and administrative support to attorneys.
- Prepare and edit legal documents and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Cite check briefs.
- Docket case deadlines.
- File in state and federal courts.
- Maintain document management databases.
- Review, organize, and process client billing in a timely manner.
- Manage and monitor calendaring of deadlines and key dates.
- Interact with clients and other contacts regarding scheduling.
- Prepare conflict of interest checks and open new client files.
- Prepare engagement letters and conflict waivers.
- Process expense reports/reimbursement requests.
- Assist assigned attorneys with CLE compliance and business development activities.
