About the Role

Meaden & Moore, LLP is seeking a development-minded practitioner with at least eight years of experience in forensic advisory, litigation support, or valuation-related services (capital markets, business enterprises, intangibles) for corporations and law firms. The candidate will expand and diversify Meaden & Moore’s service offerings, focusing on their expertise within forensic advisory, litigation support, or valuation services.

Responsibilities

  • Play a crucial role in growing the service line, organizing and participating in extensive business development activities to establish and further develop the team's practice regionally and nationally.
  • Grow the client base through new business development activities such as speaking engagements, networking events, tradeshows, authorship of whitepapers, and industry meetings.
  • Educate prospective and existing clients on the breadth of services offered.
  • Develop and execute a business plan for the assigned team.
  • Hire, develop, train, supervise, and mentor forensic staff.
  • Prepare expert reports, affidavits, and other client deliverables, including:
    • Rebuttal reports, demonstrative tables, exhibits, and charts.
    • Compiling organized working papers.
  • Effectively manage staff to ensure client deliverables are met.
  • Contribute to strong client relationships through direct interactions with current and prospective clients.

Requirements

  • Professional designation (CPA, ABV, CVA, CFA, ASA preferred, or other relevant credentials based on experience).
  • At least eight years of relevant experience in forensic advisory, litigation support, or valuation services.
  • Four-year degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a graduate degree is preferred but not required.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Self-motivated and thrives in a team environment.

This role is open to candidates at the Manager, Senior Manager, Director, or Executive level to support the expansion of our Litigation & Forensic Advisory practice. It offers an opportunity to be a practice leader or step into a leadership position.

Base compensation for this role typically ranges between $110,000 and $350,000, with discretionary year-end bonuses to supplement the compensation package.
