Litigation Case Manager/Paralegal

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of personal injury files from filing the complaint until conclusion of the case.
• Maintain frequent and compassionate communication with clients regarding case status, treatment progress, and legal steps.
• Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery responses, and settlement demands.
• Cook up coordination with medical providers to obtain and summarize records and bills.
• Prepare cases for arbitration, mediation, and trial as necessary.
• Track deadlines and manage attorney calendars to ensure timely filings and appearances.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in plaintiff's personal injury law (required).
• Strong understanding of New Jersey tort law, court procedures, and efiling systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in legal case management software.
• Able to multitask, work independently, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Treat others with respect and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Knowledge of Trial pad and/or TrialWorks a plus.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Word and PDF conversion software.
• Excel and PowerPoint experience is necessary.
• Knowledge of Local and State discovery rules.
• Organization skills and attention to detail.

Pay

Commensurate with experience.
