Litigation Attorney (Ohio-Licensed)

Lawyers on Demand, a Consilio Company, is a leading global legal services firm with over 600 attorneys and consultants. The firm is partnering with a dynamic law firm to recruit a Litigation Attorney for a full‑time, indefinite‑contract role supporting the firm’s Cleveland, OH office remotely.

Responsibilities

• Handle the general civil litigation lifecycle of insurance defense matters, including taking and defending depositions.
• Manage written discovery responses and requests.
• Draft dispositive and other motions such as motions for summary judgment and motions in limine.
• Assist the team with case file review, case strategy, and trial preparation.
• Potentially engage in trial work if the attorney has trial experience or expresses interest.

Requirements

• 3+ years of litigation experience, especially in insurance defense litigation.
• Experience defending medical malpractice claims.
• Familiarity with billing narratives for insurance defense issues and the ability to draft acceptable time narratives.
• Active Ohio law license in good standing.

Pay

$75 per hour
