Litigation Attorney for Growing Law Firm!

Position Overview

This role offers hands-on experience in all phases of commercial litigation, with significant client interaction and direct responsibility. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, strategic thinker, and motivated litigator looking to grow within a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support complex commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs in both state and federal courts
• Conduct written discovery, depositions, and witness preparation
• Participate in court appearances, hearings, and mediations
• Assist with trial preparation and strategy
• Communicate directly with clients and opposing counsel

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial litigation experience
• Strong academic credentials and excellent writing skills required
• Experience with discovery, motion practice, and depositions
• Illinois bar admission required
• Federal court experience preferred
