Litigation Attorney - Cleveland

About the role

The Litigation Associate position at Amundsen Davis is based in Cleveland. The ideal candidate is licensed to practice law in Ohio and has at least five years of experience in civil litigation. A background in transportation law, insurance defense, and/or workers compensation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in all aspects of litigation
• Draft pleadings and respond to written discovery
• Conduct depositions and manage client communications
• Prepare case evaluations on liability, damages, and recommended course of action

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Ohio
• At least five years of civil litigation experience
• Preferred background in transportation law, insurance defense, and/or workers compensation
• Strong communication, analytical, and writing skills
• Ability to work well on a team

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and well-organized
• Detail-oriented

Skills

• Experience drafting pleadings and responses to discovery
• Expertise in conducting depositions and managing client communications
• Proficiency in preparing case evaluations on liability, damages, and recommended course of action
