We are a full-service law firm looking to bring on another Litigation Attorney with a proven track record in Business, Employment, and/or Civil Law. This is a permanent position that requires a minimum of 3 years of experience. The successful candidate will work on a variety of complex and challenging legal cases, providing top-tier legal services to our diverse client base.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal representation to clients in business, employment, and civil litigation matters
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of legal issues and precedents to provide informed advice to clients
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents to ensure the best interest of clients
- Manage all aspects of the litigation process including pleadings, discovery, motions, and trials
- Proactively handle employment law matters such as wage and hour disputes, employment defense, and related issues
- Collaborate with team members to develop effective strategies for successful resolution of legal disputes
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current laws, regulations, and industry trends
Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Litigation Attorney with a focus on Business, Employment, and/or Civil Law
- Admission to the CA state bar
- Exceptional legal research and writing skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make well-reasoned legal arguments
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful dispute resolution
- Ability to manage multiple cases with varying deadlines
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of professional ethics and integrity
