About the role

Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, seeks a full-time 3rd to 6th year Associate in the Litigation Practice of our Sacramento office. The position offers competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Extensive experience analyzing, researching, and drafting briefs addressing sophisticated legal issues on complex litigation, including state and federal court motions to dismiss, summary judgment, and class certification motions, writs, and appeals.
• Successfully argued motions.
• Taken and defended depositions.
• Trial preparation experience.
• Solid writing skills.
• Ability to be strategic and analytical.
• Experience overseeing and mentoring junior associates.
• Case management experience.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Law Review experience preferred.
• Candidates must have solid academic performance from a top law school and be in good standing with the CA State Bar.

Pay

The expected pay range for this position is $215,000 to $350,000 per year. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Schedule

Full-time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
