Litigation Associate Attorney

The Role The Litigation Associate will work closely with partners and paralegals to manage a caseload focused on product liability and transportation-related defense litigation. Matters may range from accident investigations through litigation and trial. Responsibilities Include Taking and defending depositions.Drafting and arguing dispositive motions in state and federal courts.Managing case strategy and day-to-day litigation activities.Communicating directly with clients and collaborating with in-house counsel.Working closely with partners and clients on complex litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of civil defense litigation experience.Experience taking depositions and/or appearing in court.Active license to practice law in Missouri or Illinois.Demonstrated experience or a strong interest in product liability and transportation litigation.Excellent analytical, legal research, and writing skills.Experience with dispositive motion practice in state and federal courts.
