About the role
Ropers Majeski is seeking a Litigation Attorney with a minimum of two years of experience to join our dynamic and growing litigation practice in the Bay Area. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely, on a hybrid schedule, or in-person.
Responsibilities
- Handle complex litigation matters from inception to trial, including motion writing, preparation of pleadings and briefs, managing discovery and written perpetuate depositions, analyzing professional liability coverage, and conducting legal research and analysis.
- Manage state and federal court proceedings.
- Handle coverage matters and litigating bad faith and/or insurance-related actions.
- Participate in client meetings and consultations.
- Contribute to the development of new business opportunities.
Requirements
- JD with excellent academic credentials.
- Minimum of two years of solid litigation experience.
- Demonstrated interest or previous experience handling coverage matters and litigating bad faith and/or insurance-related actions preferred.
- Experience in both state and federal court proceedings.
- Judicial clerkship experience is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and e-discovery platforms.
- Excellent writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Able to handle multiple priorities in a timely and professional manner.

Pay
Base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000, commensurate with experience.
