About the role
The Litigation & Collections Administrative Specialist supports all areas of the Collections department, including early-stage, mid-stage collections, and litigation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare attorney demand letters, judgment referrals, and replevin referrals, including gathering required documentation and completing affidavits of debt.
- Retrieve, organize, and distribute collection and FORUM documents to the appropriate departments while maintaining accurate member records and documentation within collection systems.
- Maintain and monitor a variety of collection workflows, including deferrals, fee waivers, transfers, phone number removals, field visit requests, line of credit closures, SAP requests, and eSign requests.
- Review large payments for potential fraud concerns and document returned payments on member accounts.
- Post payments, review and offset member accounts, and provide operational support to the Collections team.
- Retrieve Adobe-generated documents and route them to the appropriate departments for processing.
- Manage mail return workflows, updated email address batches, direct drop voicemail software results, and collector promise-to-pay tracking.
- Assist with additional administrative and operational tasks as needed.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- One to three years of similar or related experience.
