About the role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Liquor Store General Manager 3C to lead the operations of our Fine Wine & Good Spirits store at Washington Rd in Canonsburg. As a General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the store’s success while leading and developing a dedicated team.
Responsibilities
- Guide daily operations to maintain exceptional customer service and business performance
- Provide direction, training, and feedback to help maintain and support a high-performing staff
- Drive sales by managing inventory tasks, collaborating with broader management to develop and implement strategies, and providing expert assistance to customers
- Keep the store clean, safe, organized, and welcoming for staff and customers
- Handle cash processes and maintain accurate operational records according to policies and procedures
- Ensure all store activities follow relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to alcohol sales
Requirements
- One year as a Liquor Store General Manager 3B; or
- Two years as a Liquor Store General Manager 3A; or
- Three years as a Liquor Store General Manager 2B; or
- Four years as a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 3 or a Liquor Store General Manager 2A; or
- Seven years of supervisory retail sales work
You must meet the Pennsylvania residency requirement.
You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Schedule
Full-time employment. Work hours will vary, totaling 75 hours biweekly. Free, secure, onsite parking is provided. Telework is not an option in this position.
