Liquor Store General Manager 2B - South Second Street, Philadelphia

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results‑driven Liquor Store General Manager 2B to lead the operations of our Fine Wine & Good Spirits store on South Second Street in Philadelphia. Responsibilities

• Store Oversight: Lead, direct, and manage all store operations; ensure the store environment remains clean, organized, safe, and welcoming for both customers and staff at all times.
• Staff Leadership: Supervise staff, set employee schedules to provide appropriate coverage, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor work quality.
• Employee Support: Provide motivation, guidance, and training as needed; resolve conflicts; recognize and reward top performers.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, oversee merchandising, and ensure adherence to marketing promotions and branding initiatives for optimal customer experience.
• Operations Reporting: Handle cash management, sales reporting, and maintain accurate records in line with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• One year as a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 3 or a Liquor Store General Manager 2A, or
• Two years as a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 2 or a Liquor Store General Manager 1B, or
• Three years as a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 1 or a Liquor Store General Manager 1A, or
• Four years as a Liquor Store Clerk 2, or
• Four years of lead or supervisory retail sales work.
• Must meet the Pennsylvania residency requirement.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions.
• Must pass a background investigation; felony convictions within the last ten years are disqualifying, other convictions reviewed case‑by‑case.

Schedule

Full‑time employment. Work hours will vary, totaling 75 hours biweekly. Telework is not available for this position.
