Liquor Store Assistant Manager 2 – Fox Street, Philadelphia

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic and results‑driven Liquor Store Assistant Manager 2 to join our Fine Wine & Good Spirits store at Fox Street in Philadelphia. In this role you will help ensure smooth store operations while delivering exceptional customer service. You will work closely with the General Manager to lead, motivate, and develop a team, drive sales, and maintain high standards of store presentation.

Responsibilities

• Shift Oversight: Manage store activities during your shift and ensure procedures are followed.
• Team Leadership: Guide employees by assigning tasks, checking work, and offering direction.
• Sales Support: Participate in receiving shipments, stocking items, and assisting customers.
• Customer Service: Resolve issues, answer questions, and maintain a positive shopping experience.
• Store Safety: Keep the store clean, organized, and safe for both staff and customers.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and maintain product displays.

Schedule

• Full‑time employment
• Work hours total approximately 75 hours biweekly; hours will vary.
• No telework option.
• Free, secure onsite parking.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience:
  • One year as a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 1 or Liquor Store General Manager 1A (or equivalent), or
  • Two years as a Liquor Store Clerk 2 (or equivalent), or
  • Two years of lead retail sales work.
• Must meet Pennsylvania residency requirements.
• Ability to perform essential job functions.
• Must pass a background investigation; felony convictions within the last ten years are disqualifying, other convictions reviewed case‑by‑case.
