About the role

We are seeking a dependable, friendly, and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at a liquor store. The Cashier will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing transactions accurately, verifying customer identification, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The ideal candidate is honest, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail setting while following all applicable alcohol sales laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Must be available in the MORNING
• Must meet the minimum legal age requirement for selling or handling alcohol in the applicable state or jurisdiction
• Must have a strong commitment to responsible alcohol sales and age verification
• Previous cashier or retail experience REQUIRED
• Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash accurately
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to operate a cash register and learn POS systems
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work scheduled shifts
• Honest, trustworthy, and attentive to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move merchandise as needed
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
