Liquor Manager

About the Role

You will report directly to the Store Director and District Manager, overseeing all liquor associates in a friendly, flexible team environment. This entry-level position plays a key role in delivering outstanding service and high-quality liquor products to our customers while supporting our local communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to customers in a clean and friendly atmosphere
• Schedule and supervise liquor associates
• Follow merchandising plans and control shrink
• Handle pricing, product dating, inventory, and product rotation to ensure quality
• Establish and maintain a cleaning program for display cases, backroom areas, and coolers
• Maintain a well-trained staff and foster good communication with other departments
• Follow guidelines for product shelf life and company safety, sanitation, and security policies
• Ensure compliance with governmental weights and measures laws, health department regulations, and ID checks
• Adhere to proper cash handling techniques to achieve low levels of cash over/short
• Comply with all company policies, including dress code and name tag requirements

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes occasionally and/or exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently and/or 10-20 lbs. of force constantly while moving and handling materials
• Dexterous use of both hands required
• Able to stand and move about various workstations
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items to move objects toward areas of use
• Use of knives and other sharp instruments for product preparation or unpacking
• Medium work requiring good corrected vision and hearing
• Able to perform lifting, carrying, stooping, kneeling, standing, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to work on floors that may become slippery
