Liquid Asphalt Terminal Operator- Second Shift (12:30pm-9:30pm)

Responsibilities

• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required PPE; maintain accurate daily inventory records; collaborate with the Lab Technician to verify and maintain product certifications.
• Material Handling: Execute transfers of liquid asphalt between tanks; validate load information and safely load tankers; create detailed Bill of Ladings (BOLs) and Bituminous Material Test Reports.
• Equipment Operations: Conduct daily equipment inspections; identify issues and perform minor repairs to minimize downtime.
• Railcar Operations: Receive and inspect incoming liquid asphalt railcars for quality and safety compliance; safely unload railcars following established procedures.
• General Responsibilities: Demonstrate professionalism and maintain a positive work demeanor; possess reliable transportation; work 12‑hour shifts and weekends as required; lift and carry up to 50 lb; stand for extended periods; prior asphalt terminal experience is advantageous; proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting; analyze tasks and prioritize safety; work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Minimum Qualifications

• Professional demeanor and reliable transportation.
• Availability for 12‑hour shifts and weekend work.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lb safely.
• Capability to stand for long periods.
• Prior experience in an asphalt terminal (considered a plus).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for accurate data management and analysis.
• Strong task analysis skills with a focus on safety.
• Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.

Schedule

Shift: 12:30 pm – 9:30 pm (12‑hour shifts), including weekends as needed.
