Based in Rochester, NY, LiDestri employs over 1,000 people across three U.S. locations, maintaining decades-long partnerships with respected CPG companies and inventive retailer brands.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize RF scanner guns
  • Move, locate, relocate, stack and count inventory
  • Follow GMP protocols
  • Palletizer - Remove wrapped pallets from palletizer staging area and deliver to correct bay
  • Receiving - Unload raw materials from delivery truck and tankers, properly receive and deliver to proper bay
  • Accurately and safely deliver pallets of empty containers to depal area
  • Depalletizer - Unload glass from delivery truck, accurately and safely deliver pallets of finished product to appropriate kitchen
  • Rec/Railcars - Load and unload rail cars, accurately receive any raw product in
  • Shipping / Other Warehouses - Relocate pallets throughout warehouse as needed, remove pallets of finished product from palletizer and delivery to appropriate bay for holding, stage and prep outgoing orders, load outgoing trucks and ensure product is not damaged prior to or during loading, load recycling trailers and dumpsters when needed
  • Work in a safe manner, consistent with company safety rules and regulations
  • Report food safety & quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous experience operating forklift in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to apply computer and communication skills and math functions
  • Ability to use hand tools including RF scanner guns
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (bump cap, hair net, ear plugs, beard net (if applicable); Kevlar gloves, safety glasses and leather skid resistant work shoes/boots)

  • Occasional standing and moving by foot
  • Occasional lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds
  • Frequent reaching/lifting/pulling/bending/climbing stairs/stooping/kneeling
  • Potential exposure to caustic chemicals
