About the role

Responsible for maintaining and optimizing Linux systems within a secure environment. This includes managing server configurations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring system stability.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Linux servers in a classified environment
• Troubleshoot and resolve system and network issues
• Implement security measures to protect classified data
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups and updates
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system availability and performance

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Linux administration
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
• Knowledge of SELinux and other security protocols
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash
• Ability to work in a classified environment

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field
• Active Secret clearance
