Linux Systems Administrator - Journeyman

Job Description and Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain an organization's Red Hat Linux systems. Perform System monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems. Review System and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups. Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses.

• Hardware/Application Support for Red Hat Linux Systems.
• Compliance Assurance: STIG, Patching, Backups, ACAS Scans.
• Scripting: Bash and Ansible

Basic Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Red Hat Linux 8.x and newer experience (required)
• Bash Scripting experience (required)
• Familiarity with STIGs (Required)
• Anisible knowledge (desired)

Certification Requirements

• Security +(or equivalent)
• RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Admin)

Security Clearance

Top Secret or above (must be a US Citizen)

Telework and Travel

On-Site.

$115,000-$150,000
