Linux Systems Administrator

Responsibilities

• Stand up, configure, and maintain Linux servers.
• Monitoring and patching/upgrades to standard networking resources (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Monitoring and patching/upgrades to servers and VM hardware.
• Affiliate with and incorporate security compliance controls as applicable.
• Affiliate with documenting non-applicable controls.
• Affiliate with installation of new or replacement hardware or software.
• Configure and integrate hardware or software with existing networked infrastructure.
• Affiliate with decommission and/or removal of obsolete, excess, or replaced hardware.
• Document inventory changes.

Required

• Active and current TS.SCI w FSP through MDProficient with Linux. Minimum of 3 years Linux system administration experience (within the last 3 years).
• Proficient with AWS. Minimum of 1 year of AWS experience (within the last year).
• Experience with patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resources. VM experience
• Security + cert

Desired

• Should have a working knowledge and be able to use and/or support some (preferably most) of the following resources and tools.
• Linux servers

• Scripting (bash, Python)
