Linux Systems Administrator
Responsibilities
- Stand up, configure, and maintain Linux servers.
- Monitoring and patching/upgrades to standard networking resources (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Monitoring and patching/upgrades to servers and VM hardware.
- Affiliate with and incorporate security compliance controls as applicable.
- Affiliate with documenting non-applicable controls.
- Affiliate with installation of new or replacement hardware or software.
- Configure and integrate hardware or software with existing networked infrastructure.
- Affiliate with decommission and/or removal of obsolete, excess, or replaced hardware.
- Document inventory changes.
- Active and current TS.SCI w FSP through MDProficient with Linux. Minimum of 3 years Linux system administration experience (within the last 3 years).
- Proficient with AWS. Minimum of 1 year of AWS experience (within the last year).
- Experience with patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resources. VM experience
- Security + cert
- Should have a working knowledge and be able to use and/or support some (preferably most) of the following resources and tools.
- Linux servers

- Elasticsearch, Splunk
- Scripting (bash, Python)
