About the role
Work in an environment where you can help design the architecture and develop solutions to meet organizational needs. We are looking for an innovative, motivated individual to join a small, talented, and hardworking Linux team in a hybrid cloud environment. This team creates, maintains, and troubleshoots Linux instances on multiple networks and architectures.
Responsibilities
- Perform Linux administration tasks including configuring, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, Puppet, and/or Ansible.
- Collaborate in a small team setting to design and implement solutions.
Requirements
- Hands-on Linux administration experience (configuring, patching, monitoring, troubleshooting, etc.).
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and service owners.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Skills
- Desired: Demonstratable ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Desired: Experience creating, debugging, and implementing automation scripts (Bash, Python, Puppet, Ansible).
- Desired: Knowledge of AWS, specifically EC2 Auto Scaling, aws-cli, and boto3.
