Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Oversight and maintenance of continuous and efficient operation of lining machines.
  • Troubleshooting problems on the line and working with QC on quality issues.
  • Maintaining records of productivity, problems, down time, machine cycles, scrap, etc.
  • Performing process/maintenance work and completing paperwork.
  • Performing visual inspections on all machines to ensure product meets specifications.
  • Reporting problems to Quality Control.
  • Contacting maintenance or tool for repairs or part creation; collaborating with appropriate departments to keep lines running.
  • Maintaining safety and housekeeping of production area.
  • Overseeing and maintaining parts organization.
  • Performing other related duties or special projects.

Marginal Functions

  • May assist with temporary operating of machines.

Food Safety Responsibilities

  • Comply with all company food safety and quality assurance procedures and document data correctly at all times.
  • Report any product or process failures that could impact food safety of manufactured product to Quality and/or Line/Maintenance Supervision.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years of related experience preferred.

Physical Demands

  • Frequently lifts and carries up to 10 pounds.

  • The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, bend or twist.
  • The employee is occasionally required to push, pull, and/or move materials.

Work Environment

  • The work environment is typical of most manufacturing environments.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high level with ear protection required.
