Linehaul Driver - Full-Time

About the role

Responsible for safely and efficiently transporting products from the warehouse to customers via tractor-trailer, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with safety and food quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Transport and unload products according to customer specifications and company protocols.
• Complete all paperwork accurately, including logs, inspections, maintenance reports, and invoices.
• Adhere to food safety protocols, maintaining proper temperatures during delivery.
• Operate equipment safely, including pallets, load bars, and protective gear.
• Build positive customer relationships through courteous service and clear communication.
• Report route or delivery issues to management and adapt as needed.
• Work flexible schedules, including overnight and outside regular hours, to meet customer needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or completion of tractor-trailer driving school.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and insurability.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, safety, and delivery best practices.
• Skills in long-distance driving, problem-solving, and customer communication.
• Ability to operate large trucks in various conditions and perform basic math and organizational tasks.

Physical & Environmental Demands

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push or pull heavy loads, and climb in/out of trucks.
• Work may involve exposure to extreme weather, moving mechanical parts, and moderate noise levels.
