Linehaul Driver - Full Time

About the Role

Responsible for safely and efficiently transporting products from the warehouse to customer locations via tractor-trailer, ensuring timely delivery according to company and safety standards. This long-haul role involves traveling to various states, often staying out 2-3 days.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver products, load/unload per customer specifications, and complete all required paperwork accurately.
• Maintain food safety protocols and operate equipment safely.
• Develop positive customer relations through courteous service and communication.
• Report route, trailer, or loading issues to management and follow safety guidelines.
• Work flexible hours, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; tractor-trailer driving experience preferred or completion of a driving school.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and insurability.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, safety practices, and hazard guidelines.
• Strong driving, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate large trucks in diverse conditions and perform basic math and reading tasks.

Physical & Work Environment

• Regularly sit, talk, hear; occasionally lift up to 50 lbs., push/pull 350 lbs., climb in/out of trucks.
• Work involves exposure to varying weather, mechanical parts, confined spaces, and moderate noise levels.
• Physical stamina and alertness are essential for safe operation and delivery.
