Duties/Responsibilities
- Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely fashion.
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Clean and maintain work station while practicing safety requirements.
- Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment.
- Restock items as needed throughout the shift.
- Adhere to all safety food production codes.
- Be able to adhere to specific timing standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to facility policies and procedures, State & Federal law, and accrediting agency regulations and standards.
Physical Requirements
- Sitting, standing, reaching, bending, lifting, squatting, climbing stairs.
- Seeing, hearing, speaking.
- Prolonged standing and cooking in a kitchen environment with exposure to heat.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
- Driving in all weather conditions.
