About the Role

The Line Service Manager is responsible for creating and leading an exceptional line service team, ensuring efficient service for all internal and external customers through excellent, in-depth knowledge of company procedures. This role works closely with the Customer Service Manager and FBO Manager.
Responsibilities
- Manage the line service department by prioritizing, assigning, and monitoring supervisors' work, conducting performance evaluations, and providing training goals with the Training/Safety Tech.
- Review line service team payroll, manage overtime, and submit to payroll for processing.
- Oversee the hiring process to build a well-rounded team with a focus on customer service and safety.
- Manage facility startup, including facility security, vehicle maintenance checks, equipment service, and status.
- Handle fuel management, including monitoring fuel inventory, reconciling load receipts, and ordering fuel as needed.
- Communicate with supervisors in daily pass-down meetings.
- Coordinate aircraft storage, movement, hangar arrangement, and anticipate needs for arrivals and departures.
- Implement damage prevention and safety procedures.
- Support trainers, safety techs, and the line service team.
- Ensure team training meets DOT regulations.
Requirements
- Customer-focused, naturally outgoing, and extroverted.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and employees in person, on the phone, and via radio.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle and be insurable by our insurance company (requires a clean driving record).
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Basic mathematical knowledge.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Minimum five (5) years of line service experience, including fuel management and supervisory duties.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Must adhere to a zero-tolerance drug-free policy, including pre-employment and random drug screening.
Work Environment
- Works outside in all types of weather conditions.
- Direct contact with both moving and non-moving aircraft.
- May be exposed to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
- Requires bending, lifting, walking, stooping, squatting, gripping, and climbing a ladder.
Schedule
This is an exempt position that may require working evenings, weekends, and scheduled company holidays.
