What You'll Do Everyday
- Maintain production supplies at the prescribed levels.
- Operate mixing, baking, and decorating machinery safely and efficiently.
- Read and follow product formulas, temperatures, and times according to the BOM.
- Coordinate with Production Leads regarding product flow for batch mixing.
- Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Notify a Production Lead if stepping off the line to maintain food safety and quality standards.
- Report all production waste to a Production Lead.
- Ensure food safety and quality throughout production.
- Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas.
- Follow production dress code standards and maintain good personal hygiene.
- Communicate effectively and stay focused in a loud working environment.
About the Role
Dessert Holdings is a premium dessert company that crafts artisanal, scratch-made desserts at scale. The Aurora, CO team is seeking an Operator I to join their team. This position is responsible for ensuring food safety and quality, operating machinery, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Reliable transportation.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
- Able to read and write in either English or Spanish.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Able to work in a manufacturing environment requiring strict work/safety rules 100% of the time.
Qualifications
- Must be able to operate mixing, baking, and decorating machinery.
- Must understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Must be familiar with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English or Spanish.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with strict safety rules.
