About the Role
This position involves overseeing assembly operations, ensuring adherence to safety and quality procedures, and supporting continuous improvement efforts.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safety and quality protocols are followed and actively seek improvements.
- Supervise the assembly line from raw materials to finished product.
- Train, coach, and support assemblers to meet daily production goals.
- Evaluate employee performance and contribute to hiring decisions.
- Meet daily production targets and identify any barriers.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Perform additional tasks as required to meet company goals.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent, with ongoing education or training.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Experience in supervisory roles and managing multiple employees.
- Detail-oriented with strong leadership competencies.
- Legal ability to work in the US.
Physical Demands
- Must frequently lift up to 55 pounds.
- Stand for extended periods and perform active tasks including bending, kneeling, crawling, and climbing.
- Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, as well as focus adjustment.
