Belt Assembler Line Lead

Responsibilities

• Ensures all safety procedures are followed and actively works to improve the safety program.
• Ensures all quality procedures are followed and actively works to improve the quality program.
• Oversees the assembly line from raw materials to finished belt.
• Trains, coaches, and supports assemblers to ensure their line is properly equipped to complete daily orders.
• Evaluates the efficiency of employees and makes suggestions for permanent hire.
• Meets daily production expectations as per production board and documents barriers when applicable.
• Encourages a continuous improvement culture.
• Performs any other tasks required to ensure company goals are met as directed by management.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Continuing education via various training seminars and/or college credits.
• Solid communicator.
• Ability to work well in a team atmosphere.
• Experience in a supervisory role and/or proven leadership competency.
• Experience or proven ability to manage multiple employees.
• Ability to work in the US.
• Detail-oriented.
• Works well within a team environment.
