The Line Lead
- Operate packaging equipment and coordinate production on assigned lines.
Responsibilities
- Set-up and operate retail shreds horizontal form fill and seal packaging machines, food service vertical form fill and seal packaging machines, chunk and bar horizontal overwrap packaging machines and all production support equipment.
- Set-up and operate in-line zipper applicators.
- Keep track of in-process and completed production ensuring orders are properly filled.
- Determine the amount of cheese needed to be provided to the line for order completion.
- Ensure correct completion of all packaging specifications including cheese type, shred style, package weight, date coding, film, labels, stickers, and all added ingredients.
- Maintain accurate records of film and all product ingredient usage.
- Maintain accurate documentation/data entry of packaging equipment efficiency and associated production line downtime.
- Execute and document all quality control checks, practices, and procedures.

- Able to lift and carry 74 pounds regularly.
- Able to read and comprehend safety warnings and directives related to machinery and production processes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a similar role preferred.

Pay
- Starting wage begins at $27.89/hour with the opportunity to earn up to $32.93/hour.
- Incentive bonus program where you can earn up to 6% of your gross earnings annually.
Schedule
- 12 hours per week, 3-4 days per week, full-time schedule.
