Line Customer Service Representative (Contingent) - 5x2 - Houma, LA

Responsibilities

• Assist with ensuring baggage and cargo are tagged and stored in the proper locations within the baggage holding area.
• Work closely with Customer Service Representatives (CSR) to ensure the proper baggage and cargo is pulled and loaded on the assigned aircraft, using flight manifests provided by CSRs (note: changes occur frequently).
• Escort passengers to and from aircraft.
• Operate ground support equipment safely (e.g., golf carts, forklifts).
• Assist with towing aircraft.
• Perform flight-following duties as required, such as answering phones, assisting with radio calls, and managing parking assignments.
• Maintain general housekeeping of Operations buildings, parking lots, company vehicles, and equipment on a daily and weekly schedule.
• Prepare the Operations building each morning by making coffee, laying out newspapers, ensuring cleanliness, checking restrooms, and emptying trash cans; repeat periodically throughout the day.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive company vehicles.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently, managing a large and varied workload in all weather conditions.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Willingness to travel and work overtime as required.
