What You Will Do

• Prepare and cook daily menu items according to established recipes and production schedules
• Ensure food is prepared, held, and served in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, prep areas, equipment, and storage spaces
• Support opening and closing kitchen procedures as assigned
• Work collaboratively with cafeteria team members to meet daily service needs
• Contribute to a positive, efficient, and professional work environment

What You Will Bring

• Previous cooking or food preparation experience required; cafeteria, institutional, or commercial kitchen experience preferred
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
• Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong attention to consistency, quality, and cleanliness
• Dependable, punctual, and professional
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs as required
• Flexible availability based on regular operating hours
