Line Cook-Alpine Inn (Seasonal)

About the role

LOGE is seeking a Line Cook for our LOGE Camps site. The kitchen team prepares menu items from scratch, ensures timely execution, assists guests with dietary questions, and supports catering for special events.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items from scratch ingredients with the kitchen team.
• Ensure successful and timely execution of the menu.
• Maintain understanding of all menu items and ingredients; assist guests with dietary or preparation questions.
• Develop prep and order specifications from multiple recipes at an assigned kitchen station.
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure the kitchen is properly stocked.
• Follow safety and cleanliness standards and protocols for all assigned kitchen stations.
• Participate in cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the kitchen.
• Assist the team with standard kitchen duties as needed.
• Operate and deep clean all kitchen equipment.
• Support catering efforts for special events and group meetings.
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned by the Head Chef.

Requirements

• 1+ years of culinary team experience.
• Working knowledge of POS software.
• Fluent in English; bilingual a plus.
• Physical ability to bend, reach overhead, squat, lift/carry up to 40 lb, push/pull up to 75 lb, and remain on feet for extended periods.
• Comfortable with moderate to occasionally loud noise levels typical of a restaurant setting.

Pay

Compensation range: $19–$22 per hour.
